Our Vision
Rift Valley Initiative for Rural Advancement (RIRA) envisions resilient, peaceful, and empowered pastoralist and agro-pastoralist communities across Ethiopia where communities sustainably manage resources, improve livelihoods, and actively participate in inclusive development.
Our Mission
RIRA’s mission is to improve the resilience and livelihoods of pastoral and agro-pastoral communities through integrated, community-led approaches that promote sustainable livelihoods, climate resilience, natural resource management, peacebuilding, education, gender equality, and community capacity strengthening.
