RIRA Strengthens Community Ties with CCG Meeting in Ta’a Gumbi Kebele

On July 12, 2025, the Rift-valley Initiative for Rural Advancement (RIRA) hosted a Community Conversation Group (CCG) meeting in Ta’a Gumbi Kebele, Gumbi Bordode Woreda, engaging residents from Ittisa, Cana, and Gire villages. Over 75 participants, including the kebele’s peace and security representative, kebele leaders, youth, elders, RIRA staff, and community members, attended the session.

The meeting focused on declaring and explaining drafted bylaws to the youth, promoting peace and cooperation at the grassroots level. RIRA continues to champion inclusive dialogue for community harmony.
