Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)

The Challenge
Access to clean, safe drinking water is a fundamental human need, yet many rural communities lack reliable water sources. This leads to a high incidence of water-borne diseases, places a heavy burden on women and children who are tasked with fetching water, and hinders overall community health and development.

Our Solution
Our WASH interventions are designed to provide long-term access to potable water and sanitation facilities. By developing local water sources and promoting hygiene education, we aim to maximize health benefits, reduce poverty, and improve the quality of life for the communities we serve.

Key Activities

  • Spring Development: We identify and develop natural springs to create reliable, clean water access points for communities.
  • Water Sanitation and Hygiene Education: We conduct awareness campaigns to promote safe hygiene practices and reduce the spread of water-borne diseases.
  • Provision of Materials: We procure and distribute essential materials, such as water tankers, to support community-wide access to water and hand-washing facilities.

Our Goal

  • To significantly reduce the prevalence of water-borne diseases and morbidity in the project communities.
  • To improve the overall health and well-being of thousands of individuals through access to clean water.
  • To lessen the time and labor burden on women and children, allowing more opportunities for education and economic activities.
